Music is also being written in Musescore for exercises throughout the book as well as songs and etudes. There are also sections about circle of fifths, intervals and stradella bass. It's about 11 pages at the moment and takes care of parts, holding, precautions, care, reading music (rhythm) and reading music (staff and notes). The beginning is almost done first draft review. I need pictures of proper playing position, sitting and standing as well as pictures of accordions in general to demonstrate the difference in brands. With all of that said, what are your ideas on assembling this free method book for accordion? What things would you like to see? Would anyone like to help create this method book? Proof read? Any additional comments? I would not plan on it replacing the good advice of buying the Palmer-Hughes book series, but would allow possible newcomers a cheaper (i.e. It would be my hope that we can then supply a link to download the book, for free, to help them teach themselves accordion. I remember using a similar ebook to learn the basics of clawhammer banjo. Hi! After helping a few new accordionists and arranging music I have decided I want to make a fee ebook/pdf to teach basic accordion playing.
